What is Randomness? To me it is about everything and anything. I am not black, white, and please don't even dare think that I'm gray! I am full of colors. Beautiful, bold, exciting colors. Each color represents a part of me. When I think of what being random means I see a perfect depiction of who I am. One moment I am a calm summer breeze and the next I am a winter storm. What exactly does this mean? Am I sick? Should I get checked out, because yes it does sound like a mental disorder.
NO! NO! NO! I am completely NORMAL! Sorry, I have been shouting quite a bit, but I do not fit a mold, nor do I want to, and I most definitely do not want you to either. We are all unique, and every single one of us is here with a purpose. Acceptance is the key to a better society. The problems of the world stem from people trying to pressure others into doing, or thinking, the way they do.
Now many would argue that as Christians that is what we are called to do. I think we are sadly mistaken. We are not equipped to change anyone. Every single person is given the gift of free will, not even God himself wants to force people to act a certain way. Then why do so many feel it necessary to belittle, judge, or even condemn those who are different? My mother always told me that I could get more with honey than with vinegar and her words have followed me and guided my actions. I live by this rule, and now know what it's all about. I see you would like to know the secret as well. The secret is not a secret. It is simple. It's about LOVE. God is love. Honey equals love. Vinegar equals hate.
Love conquers all. The Bible tells us that love covers a multitude of sins. I find it amusing when people claim to be Christian but refuse to follow the utmost model of Christianity, Jesus Christ himself. Time and time again we see Jesus' unconditional love for humanity. I know what you're thinking. Jesus was and is perfect, He is God, but ponder on this for a moment... we are created in His image. We are capable of overcoming all the temptation that is set before us, and most importantly we have the ability to LOVE! (We will discuss what love means in the future).
Do not allow yourself to be imprisoned by your own mind. Do not allow prejudice, or preconceived notions, to keep you from getting to know some of the most wonderful people you could ever imagine.
